Nicole Readie
Nicole (she/her) has been practicing as a pediatric Occupational Therapist since 2016. She received her Masters Degree in Occupational Science from Ithaca College and has worked in a variety of settings and locations including New York City and London. Her love for pediatrics has led her to treat in schools, community services, Early Intervention, outpatient hospitals, and private practice.
She is level C certified in DMI and plans to be intermediate Level A certified in 2024. She also has training and certifications in Neuro Developmental treatment, DIR/Floortime and "Strengths Based Approach to Autism.” She is passionate about collaborating with families and children from a holistic perspective and giving them the tools to feel confident in reaching their goals. She feels strongly about embracing neurodiversity and maximizing joyful and meaningful engagement through focusing on a child’s strengths and interests.
When she is not busy being an OT, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling with her husband and indulging in books and TV while cuddled up with her two cats.
Aliza Sackin
Aliza (pronounced: UH-lee-zah) (she/her) has been practicing as a pediatric Physical Therapist since 2014. She recieved her doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Institute of Technology. Her background experience includes adult and pediatric orthopedics, outpatient and sub acute hospitals, Early Intervention and private practice. She trained and studied under an NDT certified therapist which guides many of her techniques along with DMI.
She is level C certified in DMI and plans to be intermediate level A Certified by 2024. Aliza has performed multiple DMI intensives which have yielded signifcant improvements in her patients’ global development. Aliza feels strongly about working towards functional goals for her patients and what is most relevant to the child to help them gain independence. She is also passionate about looking past a diagnosis and celebrating the individuality of each child.
When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and two very active young boys.
